SUMMARY:SALES SUMMIT - Virtual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Sales Summit and brings together sales professionals from the business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) marketplaces to look at sales from a human to human perspective (H2H). Sales is a profession and should be looked at this way...how would you feel if your physician was still using tools from the 1950's? \n\n\n\nThis forum will provide an opportunity for professional development within the Greater Colerain area and allow for networking with other sales professionals & leaders in a format that is collaborative in nature. A different topic will be discussed each month and open participation is expected from each participant. This format also serves to nurture sales people new to the professional by connecting them with more experienced sales people. Facilitated by chamber members Scott Marston (Cincinnati Benefit Solutions)\, and Dave Moravec\, this forum is open to chamber members and invited guests at this time.\n\n\n\nTHIS MONTH'S TOPIC : GHOSTING\n\nWe will be discussing the old phenomena of client/prospect "ghosting". This situation can happen across the sales life cycle and seems over time to have become more difficult\, which isn't hard to understand given how much noise is increasingly taking your client's focus. If you have been in sales for any length of time\, you've had clients that didn't return calls or emails\, avoided tough conversations in negotiations or simply just vanished. Rob will address some of the client motivations he's experienced that he has found drive ghosting. We will discuss both how we internalize ghosting as we struggle to understand the WHY\, but also look to ways to find breakthrough success in this challenging situation.\n\n\n\nGUEST SPEAKER: ROB ALSTON\n\nRob is currently based in Cincinnati as a Sales Executive\, Legal Spend Management at Bottomline which helps Insurance Claims and Corporate Legal Departments delivering industry leading savings (6-8%) on their legal spend\, and provides software\, dedicated service\, reporting and analytics for meaningful insights. He has over 25 years of sales and leadership experience developing high-performance teams that exceed financial results and promote team members to greater roles. Rob's experience in developing and executing winning go-to-market strategies on behalf of several organizations accelerates both sales growth and customer loyalty
